Whispered Healthy Weight Loss Secrets

by James Redder

So you want to lose a few pounds and you have been told that not eating for a few days can help you achieve this and it is true you will lose weight but this is not the way to lose or control weight as any doctor will attest too. They insist that only healthy weight loss diets are recommended, given the fact that excesses tend to leave the body weaker and almost defenseless when facing illness.

The most efficient healthy weight loss programs have one thing in common; they do not provide the person with more calories than they need and they contain food elements that provide the nutrients our bodies require for good health. Many people forget just how important it is to have a decent night’s sleep for good health and body maintenance but juts as important is burning off those excess calories found in the areas of fat most of carry around with us.

It is not uncommon for magazines aimed at women to favor the latest diet craze which usually relies on the dieter eating just one type of food for a certain period. A particular ‘restrictive’ healthy diet that was favored for a while was the chicken, boiled vegetables, fruit and salad one that did not by any means supply all the daily nutrients our bodies need even though all of the foods were actually healthy.

This is not to mention that after one and a half weeks of such a dietary program, you’ll feel like you’d never want to touch chicken again as the body creates an almost defensive reaction towards this kind of force-feeding. We all need to vary what we eat but if we avoid foods that are very high in calories (unless you are an athlete or have a highly physical job) and improve your daily activities plus have a regular sleep you will be most of the way to losing weight healthily.

Don’t ignore the quality of the night’s rest, since it tells much about your general physical and emotional condition as it is not uncommon for overweight people to wake up in the middle of the night and tuck in. This is a true crime against your body system because once you’re on a healthy, active diet; a lot of your energy will be consumed during physical exercises together with accumulated stress and anxiety.

The expression ‘you are what you eat’ could not be truer because if you eat a healthy diet and get regular fitful sleep, generally you will find you are more active during the day and your health will improve. It is not uncommon for people criticize themselves during a period of dieting but this is self-destructive and must be avoided as the need for a positive attitude is very important. It is very easy to become disheartened if you carry out the same exercises everyday so vary them otherwise boredom will set in and you will start to lose interest in your weight loss. A good way not to fall into this trap of expecting too much from your body is to build up your stamina slowly by jogging or walking on a daily basis before you even sign up for that gym membership. You should never forget that your body has its limitations and mobility comes in time.
