Many people complain that even after doing hundreds of sit ups they are still not burning off excess belly fat and getting flat abs. The reason they are not able to burn off excess fat is because they are actually stressing the ab muscles and making them lethargic. A good tip on how to get flat abs is to implement a regular workout routine that helps you not only target problem areas but also promote overall body toning and strengthening. Unfortunately , a large amount of folk do not have the tolerance to lose weight the old fashioned way. Like the rest, we are looking out for a quick solution. I think some thought could be put into the quick fixes that got us into this mess. I know for me anyhow, it was too many times in the drive thru as it was quicker and better to get lunch there than packing my own. Still, it doesn’t stop us from wanting to try to find a healthy quick fix for weight loss. Many folks will even resort to a pill or some kind of something that is’s presumably been proven to make us lose pounds quicker. How do we know if these trends are for real? If these pills truly work like they say they do, why are such a lot of of us battling with weight?

1)While you are at parties or at home avoid standing near food. This may sound obvious but you will eat a whole lot more if you have food around you all the time.

2)If you eat form a buffet line frequently avoid trying out a little from all the foods found there. Pick 3-4 foods that you will eat and stick to them. Also make sure that just one is full of calories. The rest should be as low-cal as possible.

3)A simple dieting trick you can use is to put a sign on the kitchen door or fridge door saying “Closed after 8pm” That way you will eat less food at night.

4)After you eat a good healthy dinner go and brush your teeth. You will be far less tempted to eat something after that thinking that you have to brush your teeth again. It sends the message to the brain: “I am done with eating for today.”

5)While you are eating don’t watch tv, surf the web, read the paper or any other activity that is captivating your attention. If you dedicate your full attention to eating you will be amazed of how little food you will be eating daily.

6)When you go to parties during the weekend dance. You will burn those excess calories and you will have a better time with your friends. It is also a great way to find a lover.

7)You should never suppose that all fruits and energy bars are low cal. Some of them contain quite a few calories. Learn to make wiser choices when it comes to what fruits and energy bars you eat and you will lose weight.

8)Instead of a large dinner you can eat a smoothie made out of fat-free milk, some frozen fruits and wheat germ.

9)During the holidays don’t tell yourself it is fine to overindulge. If you do you will probably overeat fatty foods for at least 1 more month.

10)You should try drinking cold raspberry tea that has no sugar in it or any other sweeteners. It will keep your mouth busy and it also has a pleasant taste.

The pineapple diet, which is also sometimes called the Metzger Pineapple Diet, is a hard eating plan to nail down because there are many imitations online that call themselves the same, but are unfounded plans. I do believe in the mind-body connection and that any illness that we may suffer from is as a result of two things.

Secondly, you need to reduce the amount of stress in your life. I know this is easier said than done, but look at it this way, if you are stressed about work, if you drop dead tomorrow, the company you work for will not collapse.

In fact I can bet you, it won’t take them long to fill your vacant position. Your health must and should always come first.

The same applies to home life and any issues you may have. Life is too short to spend three quarters of it worrying and believe it or not the less you worry, the less you have to worry about.

Change starts from ourselves

Many people also forget that important changes come from within. This means starting off with a clear mind, so that you not only know what the end of the journey looks like, but are able to plan a route more effectively. This means a route with a reduced risk of encountering hardships along the way.

Think of it this way, if you got onto a plane in New York and were flying to Great Britain wouldn’t you want that the pilot to have a flight plan (map) and a clearly planned digital route (another map) before they took the plane thousands of feet into the air?

When desiring to make definitive changes in your life, you’ll discover that traditional ways of setting goals are just not sufficient. Think back to the times you may have sat down with a pen and paper, or sat in front of your computer, and typed up a list of objetives which you felt were important at that particular time in your life.

This process may have taken you a while as you mulled over what you actually wanted to do you may even have put your proyects in order of priority. You might have deliberated for some time over how you could achieve your goals, but then when you had finished making your list and re-read it once, you just it filed away out of sight away from possible future reference? Why hide the future from yourself?

In a lecture I had, a professor once said that one of the greatest problems people had in completing projects was getting ready to get ready. At some point, you make a plan and then you act on it. Its not the plan that’s the problem, the problem is in the plans execution.

If you are completely honest with yourself, how many times did your list get used for reference purposes? How many times did it even see the light of day?

How long after you got knocked about, when something bad happened, and then forgot all about what you really wanted out of life?

Even more importantly, did you deliberately focus on each goal until you could almost see it, touch it and sense it? Probably not.

Most of us have great intentions to better ourselves. We all wish to self-motivate, improve our self-discipline, and have a stronger sense of purpose.

We would all like to increase that vital sense of drive and passion for life. That would make it so much easiid ier for us to achieve our aims, and the simple reality is that we can!
